RWBuild’s portfolio is not a pipeline of prototypes. It is deployed national infrastructure, piloting fintech, and consumer platforms serving Kigali today — every one of them 100% African built.
Controlled pilot
Payments and business tools designed to help African SMEs manage transactions, customers, and day-to-day operations — unified wallets, one-scan merchant pay, mPOS for restaurants, invoicing, stock/inventory, advanced reporting, a no-code eShop, and rewards. Currently progressing through controlled market validation in Kigali.
Deployed with institutional partners
RWBuild contributed technology to 912Rwanda in collaboration with Rwanda’s health institutions, with research funding from the US NIH and UK NIHR alongside the University of Utah and University of Birmingham — public-interest technology operating at national scale since 2023.
Operating in market — expanding
The MurugoCloud ecosystem — shared identity, services, and API backbone for ecosystem partner products: single sign-on, location services, notifications, developer tools, AI, and more.
Launched 2025 — private invite
AI agents for Kigali and the startup community, built on the MurugoCloud ecosystem. Public access opens Q4 2026 — MurugoBot, floating on this page, is its face.

Kigali’s leading event-discovery and ticketing platform: listings, secure digital ticketing and gifting, door-scanning, and Guhemba-wallet-integrated payouts for organizers.
Deployed — iOS & Android
The free city-discovery guide for Kigali — restaurants, cafés, WiFi spots, landmarks, and services, with ratings, check-in badges, and taxi/moto fare estimates. Download the apps from the site.
Operating in private beta — expanding
RWBuild’s matching platform connecting job seekers, applicants to ESO/NGO/government programs, and startup founders with the right opportunities — including a startup-to-investor matching track.
In development
Original game titles from the RWBuild studio — exploration and strategy gaming, made in Kigali.

Rwanda’s first online florist — the e-commerce boutique from our 2017 pilot, profitable ever since, and running on Guhemba’s payment portal.
